Currently playing at the Cartoon Research Library is the work of
Sam Milai, an editorial cartoonist for the Pittsburgh Courier, a prominent black newspaper. Most of the work covers events during the civil rights movement of the 60s. There are also profiles of prominent blacks throughout history. Next Monday at 4:30, there'll be a discussion of Milai's work led by Dr. Rebecca Wanzo. The exhibit continues through December 31.
